Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of our website, products, and service.
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing Merchant Casefile or purchasing our products, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or products.
What we provide
We provide document templates, checklists, educational resources, and an optional service that organizes records you supply. Our products are organizational and educational tools only.
Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use our products or service to:
- Create, fabricate, alter, or backdate any record or evidence.
- Misrepresent, hide, or omit facts in a dispute.
- Mislead or evade a payment processor, bank, or carrier.
- Violate the terms of any platform, processor, or applicable law.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of the records you provide and for how you use any output.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee any dispute, chargeback, or delivery outcome. Decisions rest entirely with your payment provider and other third parties. Our products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Purchases and licenses
Digital kits are licensed to you for your own business use. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share the templates. The done-for-you service is provided per the scope described at purchase and in your inquiry.
Accounts and the customer portal
The customer portal lets you track your cases. Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your email, so keep access to that email secure — anyone who can receive your email can sign in. You are responsible for the activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your email or account has been compromised.
Done-for-You service — your confirmations
When you use the Evidence File Organization service, you confirm that:
- All records you provide are genuine, original, and unaltered.
- You have the right to share the documents you submit.
- You will not ask us to create, alter, conceal, or misrepresent evidence.
- You remain responsible for reviewing and submitting the final materials to your payment provider.
- You understand we do not provide legal, financial, banking, or payment-processor advice and do not guarantee outcomes.
Done-for-You service — our commitments
- We organize the materials you supply; we do not change the underlying evidence.
- We disclose when evidence appears incomplete or weak.
- We may decline or refund a case before work begins if it is not serviceable — for example, if there is no genuine dispute notice, the deadline is too close, the matter is really a legal dispute, or we are asked to alter or conceal facts.
- We protect your files using private access controls and delete them after our stated retention period.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merchant Casefile is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute outcome, arising from your use of the site or products.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
